Your Core Numbers Explained

1. Life Path Number (The “Driver”)

Calculated from your Date of Birth. This is the most important number. It represents the road you are traveling and the opportunities you will encounter.

2. Expression / Destiny Number (The “Vehicle”)

3. Soul Urge / Heart’s Desire

Calculated from the Vowels in your name. It reveals your inner motivation, what you crave in relationships, and your spiritual needs.

4. Personality Number

Calculated from the Consonants in your name. It represents the “mask” you wear and the first impression you give to others.

The “Y” Vowel Rule

One of the most confusing parts of Pythagorean numerology is the letter Y.

• Consonant: When it starts a syllable or sounds hard (e.g., Yes, Yellow).
• Vowel: When it sounds like “E” or “I” and is the only vowel in the syllable (e.g., Mary, Lynn).
